All Getzen trumpets feature hand spun bells made from the finest materials availible. Whether it’s the one piece, hand hammered bell of the Custom Series and Artist Model lines or the seamless bells on the 300/400 series trumpets, the quality of the bell shines through in the sound of each trumpet.

The heart and soul of every Getzen trumpet is the valve section and the same legendary Getzen valve action can be found on all of their trumpets. That is thanks to the hand-lapped, nickel silver pistons, some of the fastest and most durable pistons on the market today.

Every Getzen trumpet is hand mounted and assembled by highly trained craftsmen. The same care is put into every trumpet that goes through the factory.

Genesis Custom Bb:

The 3003 Genesis is built around a solid design that produces a very powerful, round tone. Heavy bracing, a rounded tuning slide crook, a .462" valve set, and a 5 1/8” large throat bell all combine to make it perform evenly and responsively throughout the entire register while maintaining a free and open feel. In addition, the Genesis includes the ground breaking Interchangeable Leadpipe System (ILS). The ILS allows players the ability to switch between a Standard or Open leadpipe depending on their specific needs — in essence, giving players the ability to have two trumpets in one. All combined, these features make the 3003 one of the most versatile trumpets available. Finish options include beaded 24K gold plate, beaded silver plate, beaded lacquer, bright 24K gold plate, bright silver plate or clear lacquer. Hand engraving or custom etching can be added. This trumpet includes a Custom wood case with external music pouch and a Getzen silver plated mouthpiece.

Artist Model Bb:

The 3001 features a #125 mouthpipe and a #137 one piece, hand hammered bell of yellow brass mounted to a .459" bore valve set. Both the bell and the mouthpipe undergo a special heat treatment and annealing process. This combination works to create a brilliant tone with outstanding projection. The Artist Model trumpet provides a responsive feel along with crisp articulations making it very attractive to players from the jazz, commercial, and lead arenas of play. For those players seeking a more open feel, the addition of the round crook tuning slide will open up the horn, making a more free blowing instrument without comprising the trumpet's responsiveness. This instrument is available in either a 24K gold plate finish with an engraved bell or a bright silver plate with a 24K gold trim kit. Both finishes can be custom etched. This trumpet includes a Custom wood case with external music pouch and a Getzen silver plated mouthpiece.

Mike Vax Artist Bb:

The 3001MV is the result of Mike Vax's 40 plus years of trumpet playing experience. Together, he and the Getzen Pro Shop worked to develop a first class lead trumpet based on the existing 3001 design. The 3001MV features a standard 3001 body with a .459” bore with the addition of a lower tuning slide venturi tube and lightweight bottom caps. This modified body is combined with a #172 hand hammered, one piece, lightweight gold brass bell which creates a wonderfully rich and colorful tone with outstanding projection and response. This instrument is available with either a bright silver plate or clear lacquer finish. Custom etching can be added. Includes a Custom wood case with external music pouch and a Getzen silver plated mouthpiece.

Custom Bb:

The 3050 Bb trumpet is designed for the serious high school or collegiate player. With its standard #125 mouthpipe and #137 one piece hand hammered yellow brass bell, it produces a full, brilliant tone with excellent intonation from low to high. The standard .459" bore and square tuning slide provide moderate resistance, allowing a player to "lean" against the horn. The addition of a round tuning slide will open the horn slightly. If even less resistance is desired, going with the optional .462" large bore, #125R reverse mouthpipe, or both will free it up even more. If the standard bell is too bright, the optional #137 heavy gold brass bell will add warmth and darkness to the sound.

The 3051 is designed to be a great "all around" trumpet that will sound well in all settings from jazz to classical. The #125 mouthpipe and #172 one piece hand hammered heavy gold brass bell combine to produce a very broad, rich, and warm tone with a great sense of freeness to the blow. The 3051 also provides a smooth, even play with excellent intonation and slotting from low to high thanks in part to the square tuning slide. As with the 3050, the addition of a round tuning slide, reverse leadpipe, .462" bore valve set, or a combination of the three will allow players the ability to achieve the resistance level they desire from moderate resistance to a very free blow.

The 3052 features a .462" large bore, a #125R reverse mouthpipe, and a round crook tuning slide in addition to a #137 one piece, hand hammered yellow brass bell, providing a trumpet ideal for commercial and big band players that like a very free blowing instrument. The optional #172 light weight, yellow brass bell will significantly brighten the sound and increase the trumpet's responsiveness. Adding a square tuning slide will allow the trumpet to slot tighter and add more stability in the extreme upper register without jeopardizing its freeness. For those wanting a bit more resistance, the options of a .459" bore or a standard leadpipe setup are available.

Eterna Bb:

Originally introduced in the early 1960s, the Eterna 900 rapidly became the most popular of Getzen's professional trumpets. During 40 years of production, subtle design changes altered the instrument's personality. Numerous requests from fans of the early 900 convinced the Getzen Company to return to the original specifications and reintroduce the trumpet as the 900 Eterna Classic.

The Eterna Classic will serve working musicians and serious amateur players in a variety of music venues. This classic design is exceptionally free blowing with excellent intonation. It features a .460” bore with a 4.75” two piece yellow brass bell and a nickel silver mouthpipe.

The legendary feel and intonation of the Eterna Classic is found on the 900 Eterna Sterling. It features the same great trumpet body as the 900 Eterna Classic, but with the addition of a yellow brass mouthpipe tube and a genuine one piece hand hammered sterling silver sheet bell. The tonal colors created by this bell add to the legend of the great Eterna trumpet.

The Eterna Proteus is a versatile, all around trumpet. It is designed to be a more centered, flexible trumpet rather than the bright, lead style of the Eterna Classic. Design aspects such as the heat treated, two piece, #137 yellow brass bell and custom gold brass mouthpipe combine to make the Proteus better suited for chamber and orchestral work than its well known predecessor.

Custom C:

The same design theories and customization options found in the new line of Custom Series Bb trumpets can also be found in the all new Custom Series C trumpets. With three standard model configurations and a variety of available options, every player can build the perfect C trumpet to meet their specific needs.

All Custom Series C trumpets feature nickel plated, nickel silver pistons, nickel silver balusters, nickel silver outside slide tubes, and one piece, hand hammered yellow or gold brass bells. All three models also feature the choice of either beaded 24K gold plate, beaded silver plate, beaded lacquer, 24K gold plate, bright silver, or clear lacquer finishes as well as several other available options and accessories.

The 3070 Model offers a free blowing trumpet with a brilliant sound that makes it ideal for classical musicians with a focus on orchestral playing. With the standard setup the 3070 provides an even blowing feel with excellent intonation. Add the optional reverse leadpipe and the player can achieve a broader feel with a darker sound. Lever water keys, first slide trigger, hand engraving or custom etching can be added. This trumpet includes a wood case with interior music pouch and a Getzen silver plated mouthpiece.

The 3071 Model is perfect for those looking for more of a Bb Trumpet feel on a C Trumpet. With a standard gold brass bell, the 3071 will create a very warm sound that makes it a great solo or chamber instrument. With the addition of the optional reverse leadpipe, the 3071 is the ideal C Trumpet for those players that want perfect intonation without losing any of the stability.

The 3072 Model is for chamber players looking for a light feel with excellent articulation. The standard combination of a reverse leadpipe with round tuning slide crook and a light weight, yellow brass bell makes the 3072 an excellent choice for the quintet and chamber player looking for a trumpet that provides a bright and direct sound. If the player wants the same great articulation without the brightness, the change to the traditional leadpipe with a square crook tuning slide will turn the 3072 into a better orchestral setup.
